I’m a big fan of timeless, classic, and vintage looks. A naked baby will never go out of style; neither will an adorable smocked gown. Whatever is going to be in front of the camera should be comfortable. It should be something you could wear again, something you like. For families, I suggest coordinating outfits, staying within the same color family and avoiding busy prints.
WHAT TO EXPECT FOR NEWBORNS:
I love capturing the purity of babies during their first few days of life. Each little one is unique with details that change daily. The really do grow up fast! The best time to photograph your newborn is between 5-10 days old, and sessions are usually scheduled during the second trimester of pregnancy to ensure availability. Newborn sessions are done in your home and last anywhere from 2-3 hours depending on baby. Your baby’s comfort is my first priority. During this time mom and dad can relax on a couch, watch TV or even catch a nap. Each session includes a consultation so I can get an idea of the things you love and things you love not so much. And if there is heirloom gown that you really want a shot of, let me know; then we can plan ahead. I really enjoy paying attention to every single detail of these babies, down to posing each finger just perfect. I won’t lie; I also enjoy cuddling these sweet babies.

I love learning about you and your families, what your jobs and hobbies are and trying to incorporate that into your photos. So if you have a guitar, basketball, fireman’s hat, or ’68 mustang, let’s use that in your photo. I want to capture the real you.
Within two weeks of your session, we will schedule a session to view your portraits and place orders.
Session Fee - $99 non-refundable – If rescheduling due to weather or illness or other unforeseen circumstances, you session fee will be transferred to rescheduled date. All session fees and print orders subject to TN 9.25% sales tax. The session fee secures your appointment date, time and talent of your photographer for up to 2 hours at the location of your choice, editing of your images, and portrait preview and selection. The session fee does not include any images, either print or digital negatives . These must be purchased separately. All orders must be paid in full before processing. Due to the custom nature of the product, no refunds or credits will be given. Each client may receive, upon request, a disc of watermarked web-sized (low resolution) images of your purchased images for use with email, Facebook, MySpace, etc.
